If you prefer to purchase nuts that have already been picked, we can have those for you with prior arrangement. Please allow 2 day lead time in order for us to have nuts ready for you.
We are located at 16582 Donnelly Road, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
Here are some guidelines for u-pick:
- Bring your own bag or other container.
- Please keep children under your direct supervision at all time! There is a deep pond on the south end of the orchard. We will put a "do not cross" line a few rows back from the pond. Only adults should cross that line if you are picking walnuts, and we expect that you will let us know.
- No dogs or other pets please; they are okay in the car and in the parking area, not in the orchard. This is a food safety requirement.
- We take cash, Venmo or Cash App for payment. We can also accept credit cards via the Square.
- We do have a very clean porta-potty for your use.
- COVID-19 precautions. Since we will be outside and socially distanced, no masking is required. However, we invite you to use your best judgement to keep everyone safe, especially in the congested area of the hoop house where we will weigh your chestnuts.
- Kindness!! This is a great opportunity to get outside, have some fun, meet new people and be with nature & each other. It will be a little busy and likely crowded, so bring some patience, too!
While you are in the area, there are a few great opportunities for you to explore. Amazing Gordon Skagit farms is open for your pumpkin pleasure. Schuh Farms is nearby. Skagit Acres has the The Harvest at Skagit Acres.. All within a couple of miles of our farm. And, of course, there's plenty to eat and do in nearby downtown Mount Vernon.
